A short promo video for "Shameless" – a track off the new Bryan Ferry album "Olympia". The series of videos was commissioned by Bryan Ferry and EMI Records.
I produced, scripted and edited a trailer for "Beyond Blue. Mankind's Deepest Dive"; a documentary short for "Elena Konstantinoff Films". Music by John Beesmyer.
This promo video was filmed and edited by me for Doctor Manel Torres at Fabrican.ltd, a company exploiting inter-disciplinary research which links the subjects of science and design.
Spray-on Fabric is a patented technology developed by Fabrican which involves the creation of a formulation suspension which is then sprayed by use of either a spray gun or an aerosol can. The fabric is formed by the cross-linking of fibres which adhere to create an instant non-woven fabric that can be easily sprayed on to any surface.
The video was designed to promote Fabrican's new material - the spray on fabric and was shown at a number of exhibitions across Spain and the UK such as "Nowhere/Now/Here", an exhibition curated by Roberto Feo and Rosario Hurtado (El Ultimo Grito) and "Think Tanks" at the V&A Museum in London.

The "Climatized objects" videos are a series of collaborations with &Made. I produced, directed and edited the videos on order to help "&Made" to contextualize their objects. The videos were shown at the Design Museum as a part of "Design Mart 2006" in London , "Salone internationale del mobile 2006" in Milan and at LABoral Centro de Arte show "Nowhere/Now/Here", an exhibition in Gijon [Asturias] - Spain tha was curated by the creative partnership of Roberto Feo and Rosario Hurtado (El Último Grito).
The collection ‘Climatised Objects’ aims to bring attention to the issue of Climate Change and offer on hand solutions in times of emergency.
In a time of statistics and facts being thrust into the public eye that outline the dangers and effects of Climate Change, this project intended to approach the subject in a more subtle and palatable manner. Each object thrives to primarily exist as a contemporary household object, however with a little closer investigation the detail of each object hints another function, leading the user to the issue of Climate Change.
To mark the opening of Design Mart 2006 at the Design Museum and the beginning of the London Design Festival, the design partnership &made launched their dining table life raft on the River Thames on Friday 15 September 2006 before installation in the museum.
The dining table entitled "Either Oar", which was exhibited in the Design Mart exhibition at the Design Museum opening, was a part of a series of "Climatised Objects" created by the young designers David Cameron and Toby Hadden.
It doubles as a life raft, with removable legs that convert into oars, and has a built-in buoyancy tank that enables it to carry up to four people.
By crafting this sturdy but buoyant dining table, &made offer an ad hoc raft for use in the event of a flash flood.
The "Quake Frame" is designed for earthquake zones, especially high rise or densly populated buildings. In the event of an earthquake the picture frame will naturally tilt to one side due to the tremors.
&Made designed an intelligent switch, which senses the vibrations, and once swung from its upright position, will activate a bright light along its underside.
The Frame is most effective in corridors where it acts like emergency lights on an aeroplane, guiding the casualties to there nearest exit. To turn the light off, simply use the spirit level, which will deactivate the light once level.
"Bounce-On" is designed for urgent situations in the event of an earthquake. As an unassuming rubber vase, it switches to an emergency torch on impact when knocked to the floor as the tremors wipe everything from the mantelpiece.
As other objects fall and crash into broken belongings, the earthquake itself activates Bounce-On into an emergency aid.

Opening credits for "My Abyss"; a 60 minute documentary on deep sea diving by "Elena Konstantinoff Films". As well as developing the visual identity for the production company, I was involved in developing visual effects and editing the documentary.
"My Abyss" won golden prize for the best diving documentary at the "Golden Dolphin" film festival in Moscow.
The "Standby Extension" aims to reduce standby electricity by providing an extruded power source that can wrap around and over obstacles to make available a number of plug sockets that are always at hand.
The ‘Standby’ Collection aims to tackle the causes of Climate Change. Rather than solely look at society’s responsibility in reducing these causes, this collection focuses on the responsibility of objects and how they themselves can make a difference. As a result each object aims to reduce the electricity consumed by adaptors and standby appliances by considering the responsibility of the switch and how it can make itself more available. Rather than leaving industrial sockets and switches in forgotten hideaways behind furniture and in corners, these furnishings bring out the switch into the room with an ability to adapt to any environment.
The animation was a part of "Call of Nature" series that included posters and t-shirts for the "RSVP Deptford 2007" exhibition in London. The graphic series and the "Call of Nature" animation are exploring the realtionship between and nature. Please contact me to order prints and T-shirts.
These two animations were a part of my final year project at Goldsmiths College. The animations are solely dedicated to the relationship between father and son. Such as conflicts, agonies and paradoxes of filial love between the father and the son and fluxes of role taking that shift and evolve with time.
