With the growth of online communities, consumption of information has become a more active experience. We are now all able to create imagery and publish new content instantly thanks to an abundance of online tools. 'Collate' brings this experience into a physical space over the course of the London Design Festival.
Installation at the V&A
The installation for the London Design Festival at the V&A was based around a series of touchscreens and projections. By interacting with screens, users could select images, design pages and vote on content to be included in the publication. The images were selected according to the daily themes of this years festival; Graphics, Materials, Future, London, Nature and Digital.
The publication will consist of the most popular user generated pages along with texts by Rob Alderson and Joël Vacheron.
